Bunny bundles knitting pattern with instructions for three different sizes - 7, 8 and 9 ins (18, 23 and 23 cms) tall from ear tip to base.
I knitted my bunnies using three colours of yarn for each bunny, from the Paintbox Simply DK range, a washable acrylic DK with a huge pallette of colours to choose from. The pattern however, is adaptable & could be made up in as many or as few colours as you like, using most yarn weights from 4 ply to chunky, depending on the finished size of bunny you prefer.
The bunnies take only small quantities of yarn to make (1-2 ozs: 26-55 grams), so using up stash oddments could be an option for this pattern.
They are knitted in Garter stitch (Knit every row) throughout (other than the inner ears which are in Stocking stitch), on straight single point needles, using the short row method to form their rounded shape. The ears, paws & tail are knitted separately & stitched to the main piece.
So that the bunnies are completely soft for little hands to hold, I have added stitch-on eyes made from little felt circles,
The pattern is in PDF format on 4 pages, with easy to follow instructions given row by row.
