I make two sizes of the 10 well removable palette, one being shy of 16 inches to fit within a 16 inch pochade (The 16 Inch Paint Palette Holder) and the second being about 11 inches to fit within a 12 inch pochade. This listing is for the >16 inch 10 well paint holder. Each of the 10 wells on the 16 inch holder holds approximately 30 mils and is 1 x 1.5 x 1.25 inches.
Both are made from solid oak wood.
Please note that they are designed for convenience: 1) no more squeezing out paint for each painting, 2) no more mess cleaning up all the wasted paint, no more wasted paint, 3) always ready for the next plein air event, 4) paint always in the correct order according to the color wheel or your preferred order. 5) Just close the cover and place it into the freezer when not using it. Bring it out, and paint within 10 minutes.
Please note that they are NOT designed to stay pristine; that is, the wood and dividers will stain from the paint. They are not designed to air seal the paint within the closed box. They will slow the drying of the paint when closed, but that is not its designed purpose. Oil of cloves can be added to the paint or seal and wrap can be placed over the paint to retard the paint during a plein air event. And the paint stays indefinitely when the paint is contained within the closed box and placed within a freezer or refrigerator.
I personally, cannot get along without the 10 well 16 inch paint holder-it is now a must within my studio! And 10 paint colors is all one requires to paint any type of painting.
Shipping will be via USPS for small paintings and FEDEX or UPS for medium to large. As I have indicated I will not ship outside of the US.
My paintings are carefully wrapped in protective paper and/or plastic wrap to protect the oil painting(s). I pack the artwork in a sturdy box with bubble wrap surrounding the artwork. The packaging is intended to effectively protect the artwork and is not intended to look pretty.
Sorry, but I do not offer gift wrapping.
I accept direct credit card checkout, Paypal, and checks if I have agreed to a payment plan. All payment plans will be split into 3 equal payments.
Returns & exchanges
I will take returns if a painting is damaged during shipping; however, I do not sell my oil paintings "Upon Approval" at the prices I charge, as they are most reasonable.
Other artists sell work for much more money upon approval; however, I do not offer returns if a client changes their mind because it does not exactly match the colors of their monitor or it doesn't match their decor - just like purchasing a painting from a gallery.
I have taken much effort to present the colors as close as possible with detail photos. My paintings would cost much more if I were to offer my paintings upon approval.
Before you purchase one of my oil paintings, be sure that you would love the painting.
