These pendants are part of our Ancient Alchemy collection of creative findings and components. Our Ancient Alchemy line looks like it's just been unearthed in an archeological dig with its rich turquoises, red rusts and sea greens! The patinas we use on these pieces take up to 12 hours to work their rusty magic. Our patinas actually create rust and verdigris on the components, so we always seal our pieces with layers of clear matte sealer.
These pendants are made of an antique silver plated base metal alloy and have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two pendants are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has not been painted and is the base metal color. These pendants have been distressed and sealed with a clear matte spray. The matte sealer protects the color and imparts a rustic effect.
