You want to learn to make a Waldorf inspired doll. I have created this course for people just like you. I found myself in the same spot 31 years ago. I was lucky to have an older sister who sat down with me and taught me every step. My little daughter was the lucky recipient, and I thank my sister from the bottom of my heart that she introduced me to this art.
Since than I have developed my skills and taught doll making to 7th grade Waldorf students and evening/weekend classes to adults. I am excited to share with you my knowledge in this easy to follow online course. It allows you to work at your own pace, in your own space, and still connect with me and fellow students if the need arises.
After your purchase you will receive a pdf with instructions on how to log into my "doll making school" and follow each lesson.
The Ringalina Doll pattern provided in this course is more detailed in the construction, arms and legs are attached unlike the Traditional Waldorf doll. Included are two doll size patterns. With adult guidance this course could even be used in a homeschool setting, appropriate for 6th/7th grade students.

The Ringalina Doll pattern: unlike her ancestor “the traditional Waldorf doll” her arms and legs are attached and not cut from a continued piece of fabric. Her facial features may be a little more detailed. This doll is wonderful for the child 5 years and up, but have seen many parents who choose them for younger children as well. The doll allows dressing and undressing and styling the hair, which the older child loves to do.
The dolls hair, eyes, and mouth are embroidered, so there is no risk to the child of swallowing small pieces. There is an option to needle felt the lips and add color them with a red crayon. Many different hair options are available. I will introduce the embroidered hair, the crochet hair wig, and the Teeswater locks wig in this course. For wig making the basic knowledge of crocheting and/or knitting is necessary.
