This log cabin table runner will cheer any home decor.
Log Cabin is a colour and weave technique that looks totally technical but is totally not, just a few rules to follow and the pattern appears like magic!
The pattern is for weaving on a rigid heddle loom 18 inches or wider, but I've also included basic instructions for sizing the pattern down if you have a smaller loom. You will also need a 12 or 12.5 dent reed.
This pattern is suitable for beginners but I do recommend you have at least one easy project under your belt before attempting this. Beginners will find it challenging and fun, and the more experienced will find it fun. The pattern also assumes that you are familiar with warping and weaving on a rigid heddle loom.
Woven in a soft cotton, this table runner also makes a gorgeous scarf!
The printable PDF file is 8 pages long and included instructions, colour charts and colour photos to ensure your success.
I also have two Youtube channels with many free or low cost videos to help you on your weaving journey. Direct links are included in the pattern.
