FAQs

If you request a proof, you will receive an initial proof in 2 business days or less. You will then have two revisions to finalize the design. If you need more proofs to finalize you can purchase them for $5 each. Once a proof is made and you wish to cancel, only a partial refund will be given (75%). Once your proof is approved the stamp will go into production and cannot be stopped for additional revisions so please check over you proof very carefully. If you approve a proof with mistakes or omissions I will not replace it. Most stamp will ship out 3-5 business days after proof approval OR if you do not request a proof, 2-3 business days after you order. Proof approval, if requested, needs to be done before we will make your stamp.

We are happy to ship all over the world! Please understand though if you are in another country other than the US that you may be responsible for any taxes, customs fees, or other amounts levied by your home country. Please check with your customs office/or postal service if you are concerned about possible tariffs. Hello World Paper Co. is not responsible for these fees or if your package gets held in customs because you haven't paid your fees. If your package is in customs and not picked up by you within a reasonable amount of time they will ship it back to us and you will not receive a refund if your item was personalized. If you would then like your package shipped back out to you, you will need to pay for shipping again.

If you need your package shipped somewhere else please let me know immediately. If your shipping address is not up to date and you change it after you order please tell me because it will not update on my end automatically. I am not responsible if your package goes to the wrong address if you do not communicate with me. I will ship it to whatever address is on your invoice or if you update your address with me. If you want to double check, just ask me or check your invoice in your account info. If your package is returned to me because of an error in the address you provided, then you will be charged the full shipping rate again via a PayPal invoice. The payment will need to be made before I send your package out again.

The United States Postal Service is my usual mail provider. The post office usually takes 3+ days for 1ST CLASS domestic delivery. If you upgrade to Express Shipping at checkout then your package will ship FedEx overnight (1-2 business days processing time). Most stamp will ship out 1 week or so after proof approval OR if you do not request a proof, 1 week or so after you order. Proof approval, if requested, needs to be done before I will make your stamp. If you need it faster, RUSH upgrade options are available for an additional charge at checkout. If you purchase any RUSH order your order will ship out in the next 1-2 business days AFTER proof approval, if requested. Insurance is available for an additional charge

I recommend wood mounted stamps for most DIY projects because of their versatility. Wood mounted stamps are good for using different colors and types of inks. With the self-inking stamp you are bound to the ink that comes in the stamp and it is water-based. It takes a while to dry and I do not recommend using them on metallic or pearlescent papers without being heat set. Wood mounted stamps can be used on any type of paper, wood, glass, fabric, ceramic, clay, plastic, or really any surface with the correct ink pad (sold separately). I recommend self-inking stamps to anyone who wants the convenience of self-inking when stamping on standard paper and envelopes. So essentially, self-inking stamps are perfect for your everyday mail.

Each listing has sizing information included in it and we recommend if you are worried about something fitting please use a ruler to measure your stamping area. If you need assistance with this please do not hesitate to reach out to us with questions. The smallest wood mounted stamp I can make is .5 x .5 inches (1.27 x 1.27 cm) and the largest wood mounted stamp I can make is 8 x 10 inches (20 x 25 cm). The smallest self-inking stamp I can make is 1 x 1.5 inches (2.5 x 4 cm) and the largest self-inking stamp I can make is 1.5 x 3 inches (4 x 7.5 cm). Self-inking stamps also can come in a circular case up to 2 inches (5 cm) in diameter.

All of our items come wrapped in an adorable polka-dot bag or tissue paper. If you would like us to mail your gift directly to the recipient, please message us with their information. We will also include a handwritten note for free if you would like! Extra gift wrap is available for a small fee. With extra gift wrap you will get the bag that the item is already packaged in then that will go in a box which will then be wrapped with kraft paper and baker's twine.
