Item details

My mother used to play with my great grandmother's pin cushion and I inherited it. I made a couple, then thought that perhaps some living historians or reenactors would like to make one for themselves, so I put together these kits. This is the first time I have done this, so I am testing the waters, so to speak. Each kit comes with supplies, directions and photographs. I think I have included enough materials if the instructions are followed carefully, but if anyone has a problem after buying it please email me and I shall try to fix it. This mainly needs needlework and embroidery skills and there are several things you will have to supply yourselves, needle, thread and the base. None of these are hard to find.
It should measure inches in diameter when finished.
Thanks for looking!

I ship USPS Priority mail in the US. Shipping overseas is calculated so overseas buyers please email me for shipping costs! I use boxes to ship ribbon nets and caps and cuffs and collars to avoid them being crushed in a mailing envelope. My domestic shipping is free. I will send you an email as soon as I have shipped your item. I ship within 3 days of receiving payment; if you need it sooner let me know and I will ship it out next day. This does not apply to custom orders.

I accept Paypal and money orders from the US; overseas buyers must pay me through Paypal. I have had many problems with money orders from overseas. I strongly advise insurance. Payment is expected within 3 days of purchase; purchase will be cancelled if I do not receive payment within that time. If sending a money order please email me first.

Returns & exchanges

I advise insurance on the item rather than refunding or exhanging. If the item arrives damaged you can collect the insurance and use the money to replace the item or not. Most of my items are non replaceable; there are only 1 or 2 of each.

Additional policies

I will create a custom ribbon net or cap for you, if you send a picture or drawing, and either send or pay for the materials with which to make it; also measure your head, neck and wrists if you wish to order collars and cuffs. It does take quite a bit of time to hand embroider these items, so please be patient if custom ordering. If there is a belt you would like made please measure your waist <wearing your corset if you reenact> and send me the buckle you want sewn on with the fabric ribbon you want to use, or let me know what type of ribbon, color, etc. and I will provide those myself.
Thank you!
