Making Your Own Teddy Bear by Peggy & Alan Bialosky and Robert Tynes (1982)
Publisher: Workman Publishing , New York
Author: Peggy & Alan Bialosky and Robert Tynes
This softcover book is now 34 years old and still in great shape. As expected for its age, it does have a small amount of shelf wear, but I consider it minimal. The pages are all clean and in excellent shape, with no tears, bends, or markings of any kind.
This book teaches you to make two different sizes of jointed bears, large and small. Patterns are included for clothing, and a fun idea of making a Papa, Mama, and Baby Bear is one of the suggestions. You can also use the clothing patterns to dress purchased bears that are of the same size. The book includes all patterns needed to make the bear family displayed (including a blankie for the small bear), and all patterns are still present and waiting for their first use.
Please note that the patterns are placed on the pages so that they are easy to trace, thus preserving the integrity of your book!
