Advance 6826 Designer 1950s Dress Pattern by Madeleine Fauth

This dress and designer, Madeleine Fauth, were featured by "The New York Times" designer series. It is an awesome, special occasion dress from the 1950s that can hold its own at any modern day function.

A very full flared skirt has princess lines with side skirt pieces gathered to a central piece that runs from hem to collar. The side pieces drop below the natural waistline. In the back the waistline dips to a point. The bodice of the dress and sleeves are cut in one.

There is a high collarless surplice neckline and a long zipper closure at center back.
Sleeves can be short or three quarter.

Wouldn't this dress be stunning made with a swishy taffeta or likewise elegant fabric ?

Additional policies

I do not sell copies, reproductions or PDF patterns. ALL my listings are authentic patterns as originally printed by the manufacturer.

I NEVER use stock photos of pattern envelopes. Every envelope cover is individually scanned and is ALWAYS presented in my listing. I want to professionally present the actual cover the buyer will receive upon purchase.

When I write a pattern is complete, it means all the pieces are present----AND the instructions are present as well.
Occasionally a pattern may be missing a minor piece.
I will always bring it to the attention of the reader in my written description.

My home is smoke free--no pets.

AND FINALLY--since you read this page down to here I've prepared a 10% discount for purchases over $20.00
