This listing is for one half-pan of handmade watercolor paint, fitted with a magnet on the bottom of the pan for your convenience.

Color: Gold Mica - Metallic
Pigment Color Index Name: No official name, unaltered mica goes by PW20. Mica is a nearly colorless silicate mineral crystal that is usually formed of very thin plate-like layers. Powdering mica produces a natural glitter, and colored mica is usually created by coating mica particles with iron oxides or titanium dioxide.
Lightfastness: - No official rating, rated permanent by manufacturer and my own tests also show excellent lightfastness.
Granulation: Moderate
Translucence/opacity: Opaque

---------------------------------

Rivervale Watercolor's paints are hand mulled the old-fashioned way on a glass slab from pure pigment and a natural honey-based watercolor medium. No fillers or additives are ever used. My goal is to provide high quality artist-grade paints at affordable prices for artists of all varieties.

Most of the pigments I use are natural earths, and each has it's own unique attributes to explore and bring to your paintings.

Each watercolor pan is filled to the top at least twice during the pouring and curing process. Some colors are prone to slight cracking in the pan, please rest assured this does not affect its usability or its properties on paper. Different pigments shrink slightly as they dry in the pan to varying degrees, but all pans have been filled the same way.

The pans themselves measure 1.6 x 1.4 x 0.9cm

I do my best to keep my workspace clean, but occasionally paint spills as I fill colors and stains the pan. Often I can't get the stains off, or I accidentally miss a very small spot. This won't affect your paint in any way, other than the outside of the pan not being quite pristine to look at. Just consider it extra decoration. :)

Most of my paints are single pigment colors and the majority are lightfast. Non-lightfast colors or colors comprised of more than one pigment are clearly marked as such. I rely both on information from the pigment manufacturers and my own extensive tests to provide the most accurate information possible about each individual pigment's properties.

Please remember to read my policies (found in the FAQ section) before placing your order. Shipping normally takes place within 5-7 business days. Returns are not accepted, but if there is an issue with your order please contact me so I can help you.

Please look carefully at the measurements and material information on a listed item, so you will be well informed before making your purchase. Measurements are taken across the widest points of an item. All of my items are handmade, and no two will be exactly the same. Please keep in mind that there will be slight variances in each piece.

Before commissioning me for a piece, please determine if you like my style by viewing my past work. (A gallery is on my Facebook page) I do my best, but I can't guarantee that a custom piece will end up looking exactly as you envision, especially when reference pictures are used. Due to my skill level, personal style and available materials, my pieces will not be an exact duplicate of pieces made elsewhere. Please keep this in mind before confirming your order. A non-refundable deposit of half the price is required before any work can be started. Custom orders cannot be cancelled once work has begun, as they can be difficult or impossible to sell to someone else. If an order is not paid for on time, it will be relisted for public sale.

I can't ship your item until I receive payment. It will be your responsibility to ensure that the shipping address given to me is correct. Payment must be made within 7 days of a custom order's completion. Orders can't be cancelled once shipped. I only ship to the address given through the order process. If an address change is needed, (providing your order has not shipped yet), you can request a cancellation, and you may then re-order. I ship using USPS. I don't ship internationally at this time. I recycle packing supplies where possible.

If you have a problem, please contact me immediately so I can help you. If your order doesn't arrive, arrives damaged or you feel it was severely misrepresented, you may receive a replacement, refund, or store credit, depending on the situation. You may be required to cooperate with myself and the USPS to resolve any shipping issues. The buyer has 7 days after receiving their item to contact me with any problems. A detailed description of the issue must be sent to me with photographic evidence. If I accept the return, the item must be returned within 14 days in the condition it was received. The buyer may be required to assume responsibility for shipping fees depending on the reason for the return. I do not accept unauthorized returns.

I do my best to accurately represent my items, but other computer monitors may display colors differently. The color of the actual item may differ slightly from the color you see on your screen. Items may not be exchanged, returned or payment refunded due to negligence on the buyer's part to read the information presented in the listing or my shop policies or FAQ section. If I choose to accept a return for any reason where I am not at fault, the refund will be minus the actual shipping fees. This applies to orders with free shipping as well. I cannot take responsibility for lost or stolen items once they have already been delivered. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that they have their mail delivered to a safe location.

Most pigments used are considered non-toxic or of low toxicity, but some pigments are toxic and should be handled with caution. Most have no known safety hazards in watercolor form when used as directed, but nevertheless should not be ingested or used as body paint, and should still be kept away from young children and animals. Those considered toxic will have that information available in the listing. Don't eat or drink while painting, and be sure to wash your hands after. Don't use if you have an allergy to clove oil, gum arabic, glycerin, honey, or the listed pigment. My home is smoke-free. I own cats, they aren't allowed contact with my paints and I am as clean as possible, but I can't guarantee safety for those with cat allergies.
