Made from Birch and/or Maple top plywood, smooth sanded, with three coats of water based polyurethane finish applied. (For an un-finished version, see Item # 211-2) The extra-long bolts also give a total opening height of 3-13/16” (min), so thick or multiple stacks can be pressed flat at the same time. The table is 14-1/2” deep, but longer materials can be used as there is no depth restriction.
The soft feel oversized knobs can be easily spun down holding everything firmly in place with minimal effort. No fighting with wing nuts & hurting fingers trying to get proper clamping pressure. Overall nominal dimensions: 14-1/2” wide x 14-1/2” deep x 6-1/2” high (top of bolt). Four plated 5/16-18 x 6-1/2” carriage bolts are threaded into steel thread inserts in the lower platen. The top platen is pressed down by using four oversized 2-1/2” diameter polypropylene knobs with metal thread inserts for extra ease in clamping down tightly.
Special size beds, bolts, materials, stains, finishes, or knobs will be cheerfully quoted upon request!

Returns & exchanges
Please be sure you purchase the exact item you want. No returns please, except in case of defective product (see below), or shipping damage which will need to be documented back to me within 7 days of receipt. Shipping insurance is an option to protect your investment during transit. International orders must include a full name, address, and telephone number to satisfy export / import documentation requirements.
Please bear in mind that all items are one of a kind hand made and may have certain "character" unique to that item. I want you to be satisfied with your item, and thus will not stand for selling something of poor craftsmanship, nor would I expect you to accept an item that is not as represented. Due to the nature of wood handled knives, a delamination of the handle could possibly occur in a very low percent of items. This is unacceptable to all parties and will either be repaired or replaced with a similar item at no cost within 45 days of purchase (sooner is better of course!) and after review, or a refund given for the purchase price. Chipping or breaking of a ceramic blade through use or misuse will not be considered a defect and therefor not a valid reason for return or refund. Ceramic knives are hard and reasonably tough - but not invincible! Please contact me through Etsy or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with any concerns or for return authorization. Do not return any items without authorization please, as they just may be considered gifts! We want you to be happy - so please contact me with any questions or concerns.
Orders for custom made items are now accepted. Please advise what you are looking for and I will be happy to work with you to select the needed materials, design and finish. All specials will be quoted in advance and will generally run similar in cost to listed items depending on the requirements.
