ANDEAN "AUSSIE" PLYING TOOL
So-called "Andean" plying, is where the single is first wound around ones hand or this tool in a specific manner that allows unwinding both ends at once without tangling.
Not withstanding how stunning the Camphor Laurel timber looks, the first thing you will notice when handling your “Aussie” Andean Tool is how comfortable it feels in your hand. A fully turned handle that moulds to your grip with no flat or sharp edges makes it a pleasure to use.
The second thing is how light it feels, it’s sturdiness is not reflected in it’s weight, but this is a tool ready for some hard work.
Finally, the solid brass support pin means that you need never worry about accidentally snapping off a weak wooden pin, rendering the stand unusable.
Initially Andean plying appears difficult to master, but in reality it is a very quick, efficient method of plying from a single length of yarn.
A very detailed 2 page coloured instruction sheet is included with every tool.
