I'm selling this lovely fawn angora bunny fur for my young, 12 year old friend, James, who raises and shows his Rabbits. He is currently learning to spin and will soon be able to offer hand spun angora yarn. I like to spin angora from its raw form, just like it is, no washing.
This is raw wool from his English angora doe, Buttercup. She is considered a Chocolate Torte. This is her show coat and is incredibly soft with a staple length of 3 to 6 inches. The reason that it is priced so reasonably is because I didn't remover the shorter cuts.
James and his mom humanely clip the bunnies who enjoy the attention and like to be rid of their fur. In case you are not familiar with angora, it is incredibly warm when made into projects. It takes dyes and felts beautifully. I love it blended with my alpaca for yarn and roving.
