YARN Any Double Knitting (8 ply) yarn can be used so long as it gives the same tension as below and sufficient length of yarn is bought.
Gauge: 22 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch
The girl's hat shown is knitted in James C. Brett Cotton On (50% Cotton – 50% Acrylic) – Shade No 7. Contrast yarn is Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK in Candyfloss Pink, Raspberry Pink, and Lime Green. The boy's hat is knitted in Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK in Sky Blue.
