This was a surprise find at the turquoise booth this February. The guys musta decided to try out some new stones besides the Kingman turquoise they've mined forever. They call these little sponge coral "Apple". Not sure why, but it's good to pass along everything they told me. Maybe one of you will know. In truth, even the guy I bought from didn't! :)
As you see, these undyed coral look a lot like spiney oyster in color..The ones this size and shape are a tad redder than the rounds and ovals I found, so I bought them for you. These have character, too, as they are large enough to see the growth patterns of the coral in them. I love the pear shape. They are close enough in color to the 7x10 size I offer to use them together in the same piece if you wish. These are perfect for a splash of color in earrings or bracelets. Perhaps you want to try a little cluster design work with them since they are so evenly cut and match so well.
I see these were cut recently, as the paper is all white. The cut is done just right...nice ronded edges that make setting with a minimum bezel easy. You'll love how easy it is. We'll see if it is a permanant addition to their offerings (and mine) or not when I check back in September. For now, we can only smile and say, "Thanks"!

Shipping & policies
It is easiest for me to send jewelry items through the post office...The same applies for most of my work, since it is seldom so heavy as to merit going to UPS or FED-EX. I share the cost of sending jewelry items with my customer. If it is a large item or supplies, I charge what I think it will cost to ship. Combining items always saves on cost of shipping, as we all know.
Paypal or Direct Checkout are the best payment methods for myself and my customer. They both accept credit cards and make it possible for me to send your item immediately. If you need to send a check or money order, I will send the item as soon as it is cleared. If you need to cancel an order, do it immediately, please!
