So happy with it! I had been thinking of ordering this item for awhile. Really glad I did. I am using it to cut leather with steel rule dies and a 12-ton H-frame shop press. It's working like a charm. It's about time I start saving my wrists, after years and years of hand cutting. Thank you!

BUILDING/ORDERING YOUR CUSTOM CLICKER DIE:
Step 1: Trace your pattern onto a poster board and cut out, making sure your pattern is exactly the shape and size you want. Measure the perimeter of the die pattern.
Step 2: Decide on the type and size of steel rule that is best for your project, select it from our shop and change the quantity number to the number of inches needed for your pattern.
Double edged steel is more economical for patterns that can be reversed, such as shoe or glove patterns. The die is simply turned over and clicked to produce the right and left pieces.
The 3/4" height (19mm) x 2.5mm (thickness), this works better if you require 90 degree corners and don’t have heavy leather/material to click.
Choose the 3/4" height (19mm) x 3.0mm (thickness) if you are working with thicker cuts of materials. This stronger steel, however, does not have the bendability of the 2.5 mm and the corners will be more rounded.
If you plan to do a large volume of clicking on thick material, the 1 1/4" height (32mm) x 3.0mm (thickness) steel rule would be the best choice. It is the sturdiest die we make.
Step 3: Every die has to have braces. This allows them to withstand the pressure of the press as it clicks the leather. The number of braces needed depends on the size and shape of the die. Most die will need 2-4 braces. If you’re not sure how many to order, select 3 under quantity and we will advise you, if you more are needed.
Step 4: If your project requires holes or slits punched in the leather/material, compare the shapes of our crew punches, perforator tubes or chisels (slits), to your pattern requirements and decide on the size. Select the ones you need from our shop items, change the quantity number to the number you need for your die and order them.
And you’re all done! We use your poster board pattern to make Custom Clicker Die that, if cared for properly, will save you time and money for decades to come!
