Item details

Highly textured, super-ultra bulky! The blend of fibers, colors, and techniques in this yarn/wearable is so dang fun! This yarn was spun to celebrate texture, with as much attention to lock structure remaining as I could manage. Many micro-crimp locks are caught up in the twist, with soft silk and nylon highlights in there, too. The pompoms just make it softer and a little silly in the best way possible. Soft! Wearable!

There’s approximately 23 yards.
This yarn is a mix of techniques, two plies, bulky to very bulky, weight is 3.7 oz / 105 gr.
Made with: Merino wool, BFL wool, Corriedale wool, alpaca, cultured silk, nylon, plied with commercial novelty yarn in poly/sparkle.
Fiber from 222 Handspun.

I have this yarn currently in a skein – if you would like it wound into a ball, I would be happy to do so at no charge. Just let me know!

All yarns are made from fine fibers that have been hand-dyed by myself at Three Ravens Studio in Baltimore, or other independent fiber artists, with high quality dyes. Although I guarantee colorfastness of all my fibers, please test for dye runoff if mixing bright or highly saturated colors with light ones. [it's just good practice!]
Washing instructions: cool water, no agitation, dry flat.

Colors will vary from monitor to monitor – I took several photos to show some variance in color and lighting.

More goodies plus lots of patterns and information on my website!
