This is a great looking palm that comes from Fiji. This rain forest palm will need moist warm roots. This is one of the more cold tolerant Veitchias. It has been grown in Florida and Southern California with some success. In California it will most likely need a protected micro climate. Being one of the largest Veitchias it will need some room.
This palm will add tropical touch to any garden. These seeds provide an opportunity to get a palm that is threatened in the wild. These seeds are fresh cleaned and ready to germinate. They respond well to typical germinating techniques. A peat moss mix in a baggy with heat works well. Seed trays or community pots with some warmth work too.
