In June of 1997, my 21-year old son, Mac, died from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. To find some peace, I started stitching. I stitched some of my favorite scriptures and every time I stitched, a tiny piece of my heart would heal, so I stitched and stitched and stitched.
Mac-A-Doodles was a nickname I used when Mac was a small boy, so Mac-A-Doodles was created because I want to share my love of stitching with you.
So, leave your dishes in the sink, sit down with the dust bunnies, and think about family and friends and all the things you are blessed with.
