This is a very nice and expressive print fabric, multicolor leaves on brown bottom, from Swedish designer SVEN FRISTEDT. The fabric is printed for IKEA of Sweden, cop. 2006. A high quality fabric for home decor creations, craft, sewing, curtains, quilting... Never been used.

Sven Fristedt, b. 1940, is one of the most talented and successful Swedish textile designers of all time. He is known for colorful, dense and organic patterns. He belonged to a new generation of textile designers who emerged in the 1960s, and has created lots of timeless classics in the form of leaves and all sorts of squiggles to strict graphically dashes and dots.

For over 30 years he worked for Borås Väveri and became its artistic director. In parallel, he also designed for IKEA which had closely cooperation with Boras Wäfveri, who made the fabrics. Japan has meant a lot for his artistic inspiration.

THIS FABRIC IS PRICED AND BEING SOLD BY THE METRIC METER EQUAL 100 CM. ONE QUANTITY IS ONE METER. (= 39 1/2 " EQUAL 1 yd 3 1/2 ").

Full length of this fabric is 3 meter = 118 " EQUAL 3 YD 10 ". And 143 cm wide = 56 ".
