This frilly vintage lace trim is 2.5cm / 1” wide and comes in a length of 150cm / 59”. The price listed is for this complete length.
Although vintage, this quantity of lace is in good condition with no marks or breaks. Eloise, my great-granddaughter, has carefully wrapped it around a card to keep it from twisting or getting tangled and it is protected inside a cellophane bag.
There is nothing quite like the quality of lace and trim that was made when I was younger. This length of charming vintage lace would be a lovely addition to a garment or home linen, or kept just for its own vintage charm.
I love good quality lace for its beauty but also because it has such a long and illustrious history. Although lace has its origins in the 15th century, the late 16th century marked the rapid development of lace when both needle lace and bobbin lace became dominant in fashion as well as home décor. The popularity of lace increased rapidly and the cottage industry of lace making spread throughout Europe.

While Australia Post estimates the delivery time for international airmail is 12+ business days, some countries can take a longer than others to deliver your parcel. Sometimes there can also be unexpected delays such as customs/border issues, weather or other unaccountable reasons which are beyond my control.
Please allow a minimum of 12+ working days for international postage to the US and UK and even longer for all other countries... German customs is apparently particularly slow at clearing international mail for delivery.
Lost Parcels: So far we have only once had an issue with lost parcels (that parcel was eventually delivered to the buyer - it just seemed to have gotten a bit lost on the way!). If your order has not been received in the time frame below, I will count the parcel as missing and issue you with a refund.
Australia: 4 weeks
International: 10 weeks.

Like Mrs Bath, items in our store are old. They have lived a life and been handled by people in the past. Sometimes they show their age, but to me this is part of their appeal. The majority of items are in good condition for their age however, if there is any obvious damage, marks or imperfections, I will note this in the item’s description. Photos of items are also a truthful reflection of the item’s condition. Any marks, damage or wear will be visible.
Every effort is made to accurately represent each item in their photos. However, please remember that colours and tones can vary from monitor to monitor.
With all vintage items, what each item is made from is my best educated guess. Some items are fairly obvious but some can be hard to distinguish. I make my best effort to be as accurate as possible and hope there are no mistakes!
At Mrs Bath's Drawers we like to do our bit to reduce waste. We reuse clean cardboard, bubble wrap and tissue paper in our packaging.
