🍀🍀🍀🍀This Sleeping Beauty Turquoise cabochon is a beautiful rich blue color with small Pyrite inclusions and very little matrix. Stabilized, polished to a mirror finish and backed with a very thin layer of Devcon to ensure quality and durability. Sure to make a gorgeous piece of jewelry whether wrapped or bezel set.🍀🍀🍀🍀



🍀🍀The Sleeping Beauty Mine deposit originally discovered by the Anasazi Indians which would later be mined for gold and copper. It received its name from the mountain its mined in a Globe Arizona, from its resemblance of a sleeping woman with her arms crossed. It would also go by the names Pinto Valley and Castle Dome. It was shut down in the 1960's and later reopened to mine copper and Turquoise. Up until recently the Sleeping Beauty Mine was one of the world's largest producers if natural Turquoise. The mine closed in 2012 but produced a beautiful robins egg blue to sky blue Turquoise with little to no matrix.🍀🍀
