Pattern for 2 tone Christmas Stocking with Embroidered name – crochet stocking in red and white.
This listing is for the pattern. You will be able to download the pattern as soon as your purchase is complete.
This listing is for a crochet Christmas Stocking pattern with a white cuff. This pattern uses Worsted weight yarn with a 5mm hook. In my sample, I used Deborah Norville Everyday yarn because it inexpensive and has a beautiful soft sheen that doesn't pill. I ordered the embroidered names from another etsy shop (the name and link to it is in the pattern), but you can use any iron on or sew on patch.
This pattern is great for beginners because it mostly uses the HDC stitch. The only intermediate skills required are crocheting in the round and the popcorn stitch. For How To Videos, please see the my website: http://www.whitteybird.com/how-to-videos.html
This pattern provides instructions for one size, which is a medium size stocking approximately 14" tall.
When I created this pattern I had to make 9 of these bad boys by Christmas for family, which is what inspired me to create this quick and easy stocking pattern (very easy to do while binge watching Downton Abbey :) ).

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS: - Baby and Children’s Items All baby and children’s items are machine washable on delicate cycle in cold water. Dry on low heat on delicate cycle, unless otherwise stated in the listing description.
- Alpaca, Non-Superwash Wool, Angora, Cashmere Natural animal-derived fibers (including alpaca, non-superwash wool, angora, and cashmere) must be hand washed with mild soap (like Woolite) in cold water only; shape and dry flat.
Note that natural fibers will SHRINK as much as 50% if machine washed with hot water or dried on high heat—do not hang dry on a hook or in an odd shape, as the fiber will take on that shape.
REPAIRS: At Whittey Bird, we stand behind the quality of our products, which when properly cared for will last for years. Repairs will only be done for mechanical failures (ie: torn stitches or broken appendages) for a flat fee of $15. The original yarn may not be in stock, so a custom patch in a similar color will be added to the existing product instead.
Repairable items include: - Loose or pulled stitches - Loose stuffing - Ripped or cut stitches - Reattachment of stuffed animal appendages (arm, leg, head, nose, etc.)
Not repairable are stains, discolorations, and fading of fabrics.
