Simplicity pattern from the 1970's. This is a great combination of fitted knitwear top, non-knitwear shirt with military style shoulder button band and non-knitwear skirt in mini or maxi length cut on the bias. You can't get more authentic RETRO than this pattern. The best thing to do with this is to find some lovely plad or other original retro fabric prints as you see in the sketches to make them up in. The polka dots especially looks modern but classic at the same time. Or just play around with totally new and detailed laser prints of modern fabrics. Either way, all of the designs in this pattern are really cool. And you can make a copy for yourself to use and keep the pattern as a collectable.
