This is a classic raglan pullover that is really unisex. The body is knit without shaping, making it a perfect sweater for Him, or a comfy sweater for Her.

Both sleeves and body are worked from the bottom up, then joined in the round at the yoke, with raglan decreases. Short rows are worked across the back for the shoulder and collar shaping. The underarm stitches for the sleeves and body are bound off using waste yarn ( I like to use a contrasting color and either the same or a bulkier weight yarn for this, but really any yarn will do!) so that when it is time to finish you can remove the waste yarn and pick up the live stitches to graft together with the kitchener stitch.
