DO NOT CONFUSE CUBIC ZIRCONIA WITH ZIRCON. Zircon is a naturally occurring real gemstone whereas Cubic Zirconia was manufactured/lab created as an inexpensive alternative to diamonds.
This particular gemstone material was mined in Brazil which just so happens to be known worldwide for producing some of the best stones on the planet not just zircon but several other gem groups. Brazil has earned its nickname "The Gem Star Of The World".
With its 100 percent transparency, lack of inclusions and dispersion rivaling that of real diamond, its no wonder that white zircon has earned its spot as the new #1 natural gemstone alternative to diamond.
Natural zircon has been around for thousands of years and has been used for a wide variety of purposes including jewelry making, healing crystals, religious and ceremonial adornments and meditation purposes.
Cubic zirconia was first created and hit the markets several decades ago and gained popularity very quickly because of its high fire and brilliance. Its dispersion is very close to that of natural diamond and it is a very durable synthetic gemstone. Natural white (clear or lucid) zircon has only recently replaced cubic zirconia as the #1 diamond alternative. The reason for this is that zircon has the internal fire, brilliance and dispersion very close to that of diamond, it is a durable gemstone and it is 100 percent natural. Additionally, white zircon can cost less than lab created or synthetic stones because of the high cost of creating cubic zirconia in the lab environment. It takes months to create gem quality viable crystals thus a lot of man hours have gone into the formation of cubic zirconia and other lab created diamond alternatives such as fabulite (strontium titanate) which took the markets by storm in 1955 and moissanite (the newest synthetic diamond alternative) just to name a few.
This gorgeous marquise cut gemstone measures 8 x 4 mm and weighs 0.70 carats.
It is a perfect size for a solitaire ring but certainly can be used to create a pendant, brooch or other form of jewelry. Zircon is "doubly refractive" which means when light enters the stone it is split into two beams. This causes the facets to appear "doubled" which also doubles the "glit and glam" effect of the stone, something that cubic zirconia is sorely lacking.

Shipping & policies
My shipping rates are a flat fee of 4.50 for the first item and 0.99 for each additional item in the same order. This covers all the costs of envelopes, packaging material, handling fees and trips to the post office. Unfortunately, the USPS has raised their rates on ALL domestic and international packages by over 35 percent as of Thursday, January 31, 2018. I sincerely apologize for the shipping rate increase but is beyond my control.
If you are an INTERNATIONAL BUYER, please contact me prior to checkout so I can look up the correct postage for your particular country. Sometimes there are issues with the customs agency of your country, so expect that there might possibly be a delay in delivery of your item. Please note, once a package leaves the United States, there is nothing I can really do to find out exactly where your package might be. If there is an issue, please use the customs number I provided with your order and contact your country's customs agency to find out when you may expect to receive your item.
Additionally, for both domestic and international orders, please understand that I cannot be held responsible for incorrectly delivered packages, stolen packages or items lost by the United States post office or your country's postal service. In these cases, I will do my best to work with you to locate your package with the tracking number provided by USPS or in international shipping cases the customs number for your package. This also includes items being returned to me for refunds or exchanges as well.
Most of my jewelry is inexpensive so insurance is not necessary however some more expensive items, ie. emeralds, ruby, tanzanite, morganite and sapphires, & some of the vintage coins must be insured. PLEASE NOTE: Insurance and tracking fees have already been calculated in the shipping costs you see posted for any items requiring insurance. All items with a value over $100 will be insured for both the buyer's and seller's protection.

All the best!
All items purchased from my shop carry a 30 day warranty. Any item found to be damaged within 30 days of original receipt date will either be replaced (if possible) or a refund given for the full purchase price including shipping costs.
PLEASE NOTE: Items that are deemed to be damaged by improper handling or cleaning on the part of the purchaser are not covered under this warranty.
It is highly advised that you inspect your gemstone or jewelry piece very carefully immediately upon receipt because after the thirty day warranty period expires from the original receipt date, I cannot issue any refunds or exchanges for any purchase of any kind. This is in part due to the large number of attempted scams that force me to strictly adhere to this policy.
I have included some tips and pointers below to aid you in taking better care of your merchandise and specific cleaning techniques to help minimize potential damage occurring to your jewelry or gems.
Many of my gemstone jewelry items can be fragile if not protected from knocks and bumps due to their hardness scores on the Moh's scale. Care must be taken by the buyer to protect against damage especially rings as they are the type of jewelry most susceptible to damage and softer, more brittle gemstones, for example, opals and gemstones with lower Moh's numbers.
Care must also be taken when cleaning certain gemstones. Never use ANY harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaning on ANY items purchased from my shop. Using plain mild soap and warm water with an ultra soft toothbrush is the best cleaning method. This will help avoid damage to the gemstones used in creating some of my jewelry items and the gemstones themselves.
If you have any additional questions on how to take care of and protect your specific gemstone or jewelry piece, please do not hesitate to contact me. I would be more than happy to share my knowledge with you.
ENJOY YOUR PURCHASE!!!!
