Hand forged blade with an O1 toolsteel core in a San Mai construction.
The blade on this knife has been made by forgewelding 2 pieces of handforged damascus to a tool steel core in the middle by San Mai or "sandwich" construction. The steel was given a tapered tang for weight reduction while keeping strength in the handle. The handle pieces are Camel Bone with a red G10 liner underneath to add a touch of class.
The sheath was meant for carry in the pocket or on a desk and features dual color, tooling and a deerskin lining to keep the knife as pristine as possible in the sheath.
It is a lovely piece that would add well to anyone's knife collection, as a gift or to carry and use.
