Item details

Sears had a number of different in house cameras that they sold including a number of rebadged Ricoh models, this being one of those, the KSX. Made starting around 1981, the KSX an aperture priority auto exposure 35mm film SLR camera, with full manual exposure capabilities making it a very versitle camera. It is a modified version of the Ricoh XR-10 which are very nice and reliable shooters. Because they take any Pentax K mount lenses including the excellent standard Sears/Ricoh lenses these are capable of taking some outstanding images. The Sears name make most people over looks these cameras, but for the savvy buyer these Sears cameras and lenses are just about the best bang for your buck in the film camera world and some of my favorites to shoot with.

One Sears KSX 35mm SLR in good shape with only minor wear and tear. The shutter, light meter, and film transport are work well and it's a great shooting camera. Included is a nice SEARS Auto 50mm f/2 standard lens built by Ricoh (just a rebranded Rikenon 50mm) which is in great shape with clear optics and smooth focus. All told a fantastic camera, the perfect student camera or well priced all around shooter. I you need it it to be loaded up and used as it will take great photos, uses common 35mm film and LR44 button cell batteries.

New LR44 Battery is included and installed! Just load film and go!

Damaged or lost order in shipping area rare but they happen with vintage items from time to time and I will gladly assist in correcting any issues with any order. I am more than happy to handle most of the leg work on insurance claims on lost or damaged orders, however I will need the buyer to fill out a brief affidavit in order to process the claim. This takes all of 2 minutes to do and once this is done a refund will be issued to the buyer on the rare instances that there is an issue.
