(I mean, now that we know Carolyn Keene wasn't real and that all of the Nancy Drew mysteries were a team effort - wow! Illusions shattered!!! This could have been put together by a couple of old Eastern European garmentos from NYC and the ladies who stitched for them.)
39 pages of clearly illustrated and well explained alterations include sections such as: > Shoulders and Chest of Pattern Too Wide > Back Armholes of Pattern Too Short > Skirt Pattern Too Small at Waist Front
With information like this, every woman had the possibility to look like clients of a NY couturier house with their garments fit to perfection.
The booklet or pamphlet itself is in super condition. It looks as though it's been handled very little, and except for the some yellowing around the edges and spine, and the tiniest curl on one corner of the back cover, there's not a thing wrong with it. I don't believe this was ever used.
Roughly 6 inches X 9 inches, with a stapled spine.
The paper is slightly better than pulp grade, matte finish. Printing is all black ink (no color).

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
Custom or personalized orders
Perishable products (like food or flowers)
Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Additional return information
My items are sold 'as is', in vintage, pre-owned and / or used condition. I try to describe any problems that I find, and I will only refund if I have grossly misrepresented the condition or size of an item. In this situation, I will refund only after the item has been returned to me (and received) in the condition that it was shipped in.
Etsy policy requires that Sellers be responsible for refunds due to shipping loss or damage. Given this reality, I am adding appropriate insurance to all shipping prices in order to protect both of us. For Priority Mailing, this would mean any item valued over $50 US. (As I am selling unique items, I'm not able to offer an identical or similar replacement, obviously.)
In the rare case that your parcel arrives damaged, or the item has been damaged in transit, you MUST take photos of the damage and upload them for me ASAP, in order for me to file an insurance claim. I'm sorry, but no photos = no refunds.
