Use:

These films are very thick and require increased downward pressure of your knife blade in order to ensure clean cuts and easy weeding.

No nylon, dazzle cloth, shiny polyester or moisture-wicking materials.

Recommended settings by the manufacturer for easy weeding and superior results. As always we suggest a small test cut in the upper corner to get the perfect setting for you and your equipment. If you are leaving behind color when weeding or "peeling" effect adjust to more pressure or depth. This is caused by not cutting through the final layer of the materials. You should not cut through the clear carrier sheet.

Heat Press Application:
Place your vinyl carrier sheet down. Cut your vinyl in reverse then weed the excess. Preheat your garment for 2-3 seconds. Apply your design at Apply design at 300°F/148°C and use medium pressure for 10-12 seconds. Peel carrier sheet cold.


Iron Application:
Place your vinyl carrier sheet down. Cut your vinyl in reverse then weed the excess. Place and cover your design with a non-stick cover sheet and lay over top a hard surface (not an ironing board). Apply firm pressure to each section for 10-15 seconds. Do not slide your iron. If any part of your vinyl lifts, press and hold again for 10-15


Keep your vinyl design looking new by following these care instructions:
Wait 24 hours before washing your garment. Turn garment inside out and machine was COLD using a mild detergent. Dry on a normal setting. Do NOT use chlorine bleach. Do NOT dry-clean.

Moisture Wicking Material Instructions:
Damp a cloth with rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol), then gently apply it to the area of the material you are going to apply your design. Let dry and apply your vinyl. This will allow better adhesion to the garment.

Dazzle Cloth or Shiny Polyester Materials:
Highly recommend testing before doing large runs. Coated polyesters can routinely cause adhesion issues.

We take packages to the Post Office 2-3 times a day. Orders are processed and shipped in the order in which they are received. Shipments are not considered lost in transit until 14 business days have passed with no scans on the package. Please allow USPS enough time to deliver your order before making an inquiry. Craft Vinyl Cottage is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen once reported delivered by the USPS. If you’ve received a tracking number with your order, you can contact USPS directly or visit www.tools.usps.com and enter your tracking number for an update. Please keep in mind that your order will ship to the address that appears on your invoice. It is your responsibility to be sure your shipping address is correct. We are not responsible for packages that have been re-directed or misplaced due to the incorrect shipping address.
