Twelve Bottle Caps with authentic rust patina

The photo shows a representation of what the caps look like, I have several batches and each cap within each batch is unique, so I'm just showing some to give you an idea.

I live by the motto "In rust we trust" and think that it is a beautiful desired patina. These caps have been lovingly treated with rainwater to develop an authentic rust patina. Rust is harmless, but may stain light colored clothing, so be mindful how you choose to use these.

I have several dozen sets of this batch, and all the caps have a similar patina (so they match), therefore if you anticipate that you'll need more than 1 dozen for your project, I recommend purchasing what you need now in one transaction as we can't guarantee that the next batch will patina in the same manner.

FAQs

BONE: Any pieces containing bone should be kept dry, and worn in dry weather. If it does get wet, make sure to place in a warm dry environment so that the bone can dry out. IRON: Iron wire will eventually rust. If you don't like that patina, simply wipe it with a cloth soaked in the smallest bit of oil, essential oil works too and makes it smell lovely.

If you like a particular style necklace, but would like it made longer or shorter, that is possible. Please contact me for customizations.

My pieces are made for adults. If you wish to have a piece reproduced for a small frame (such as for a child), please let me know as I can do scaled down (or for that matter, scaled up) pieces.
