This Box Joint Craft Supply Bin kit contains 6 laser cut panels and a simple instruction sheet with tips for assembly. The pieces are cut from high quality 1/8" birch plywood.
This is a fun and easy kit to put together! Each panel is labeled with it's orientation, as well as with letter keys on each edge that you match up while assembling the kit. All labeling is on the inside of the panels, so it's only minimally visible when assembled (see photos for reference).
These bins are great for holding all sorts of craft supplies and other small items. It has a handy handle cut into the top for ease of moving around. They also stack quite well. since the top and bottom are both flat. I'd be wary about stacking more than 4 high unless you secure them to each other. It is a light-duty bin, so while heavier items (like lots of bolts) can be stored in it just fine, I wouldn't recommend lifting the bin by the handle on top if it's very heavy.
You will need the following tools and supplies to assemble this kit: - Wood Glue - Tape (masking tape is recommended, but others will also work) - 200 Grit Sandpaper (a random orbital sander is recommended but sanding can be done by hand) - Whatever you'd like to finish it with! This is part of the fun of a kit. You get to make it yours by finishing it the way you want. I really like the look of the natural wood with a clear satin lacquer finish. These would also look great stained or painted!
