The main body of this shawlette is crocheted lengthwise using a simple combination of single and double crochets. The scalloped border is then crocheted along the shaped bottom edge.
The finished piece measures 13" at its widest point, and about 56" long once blocked.
Wear it like a scarf or drape it over your shoulders as a light shawl for spring or fall.
I used one of my favorite yarns, Hearthside Fibers "Extravagance," which is a DK weight Polwarth and Silk yarn. Their yarn is available here on Etsy too; check out their shop at www.etsy.com/shop/hearthsidefibers
Any DK weight yarn will do, however.
