Incredibly soft first yearling clip mohair, grown by affectionate Angora goat wether, Mozart. Washed in pristine well water using skin-safe, gentle washing liquid. Air dried in my closed, bug-free fiber studio.
Completely hand processed by me, and patiently carded on my non-electric Ashford drum carder. This method allows slow and controlled carding so I can catch any second cuts. (Second cuts are very short little curls of fiber created if the shearer lifts the blades after starting a shearing stroke. While they will generally fall out when you're spinning, I like to remove any I see so your spinning is not interrupted in plucking them out.)
