Jean has beautifully restored this lovely antique drill from the early 1900's with its turned hardwood handles, very tactile and with the cast iron bar retaining a great vintage patina and with a brass bolster.
In working order, drill bits (not included) are held in place by the little screw on the end. Some cracks in the wood but solid.
I'm not much of a one for DIY, but if I was I would definitely want to use a tool like this!
And if, like me, you collect birch sap in the Spring, this is a great (quiet) tool to carry into the woods!
Large wooden handle: 12cms length, 6.5cms diameter.
Cast iron rotating handle: 17 x 10cms
