What can I say about this yarn!?
Soft Merino locks were hand dyed in the colorway "Hip Hop". This colorway was inspired by my mother's oldest granddaughter and her idea that "Hip hop music is purple." I'm not sure where she gets that idea, as hip hop is scarce in our house (my mother's daughter is more of a Southern Gospel/ABBA kind of girl). This colorway is a fun combination of purple, aqua, and neon yellow. These hip-hop-tastic locks were carded into a OOAK Mother's Daughter art batt (check out my "art batt" section for more of those!) This super special batt included tussah silk, faux cashmere, sari threads, and tons of sparkle! Spun with a whimsy, boucle-type technique (involving LOTS of creative license!), this yarn is super bulky and full of giant loops and baubles! It weaves, knits, and crochet's beautifully and because of it's super bulky nature a little goes a long way!
Specification: Approximately 9 yards, 3 oz.
If you love it, but have no idea what to do with it please ask for suggestions! I'm happy to help!
*Though I’ve done my best to accurately represent the colors computer monitors are different and, therefore, there may be slight variation in the color of the yarn.*
