---------CARE INSTRUCTIONS--------------------------------------
Hand-wash, or wash on a gentle cycle in cold water with like colors using a fragrance free, non-chlorinated detergent. Dry on a low/ medium cycle or line-dry. As with most fabrics, hand washing and line drying will best preserve the color vibrancy.
Shrinkage of up to 5% after washing should be expected- always a good idea to prewash fabrics before use.

GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard- Fabrics with this certification have to meet a number of different requirements for criteria covering “production, processing, manufacturing, packaging, labeling, exportation, importation and distribution of all natural fiber products.” Fair labor practices that provide for safe and equitable conditions for workers are also a requirement.
Organic cotton is grown from GMO-free crops without the use of toxic synthetic pesticides, fertilizers and pesticides. Instead, farmers use techniques that focus on soil and plant health, including crop rotation, companion planning, and beneficial insects. Inputs like dyes need to be biodegradable and free of harsh chemicals like phthalates, PVC, synthetic sizing agents, and chlorine bleach. The use of high adsorption rate dyes reduces water requirements and environmental impact.
