McCall's Dress with Slim or Full Skirt - Easy to Sew - Size 16 (Bust 91cm) - Printed Pattern
McCall's Pattern 7059 in Size 16 - BUST 91cm, Waist 71cm, Hip 96cm. This is the quintesensial vintage dress pattern. Ot has a flared gore skirt and a straight skirt, a combination of plain or rolled collar. The dress has 3/4 raglan sleeves for a nice fit which gather into cuff bands. The skirt is pleated and may be lined. The dresses have a center back zip. The pattern comes with a tie belt. You can attach the rolled collar to the full skirt dress for more drama. The bodice is shaped using french bust darts This is one of the very first printed patterns on the market at the time.
1. Straight skirt dress with side front pleats, darts and low back pleates with rolled collar and 3/4 sleeves.
2. Gathered four gored skirt dress, rouded neckline and 3/4 sleeves
3. Tie Belt.
Suggested fabrics for both dresses: Jersey, Crepe, printed silk, Shantung, Synthetic Mistures, Surah. Straight dress can also be made of double knnits, wool. For full dress printed cotton, cotton crepe.
