This stunning piece of hand-dyed silk fabric is from a vintage Japanese Furesode silk kimono. The condition is very good vintage. This is fabulously embellished with gold embroidery and gold paint and beautiful flowers and a hand drum feature on a gorgeous pale turquoise patterned rinzu silk. I hope the beautiful woven background pattern in the rinzu silk of a floral spray amid geometric patterns is visible in the photos. This is three sections loosely hand-stitiched together so it is wider than standard kimono fabric equaling 3 widths of standard 14" kimono fabric with the excess fabric buried on the seams. They are so lovely together I'm offering them as a unit. The photos are of the actual piece you will receive.
This is 28" wide when the three 14" wide pieces are stitched together; Price is for a single 39" long piece consisting of three standard widths of kimono silk loosely joined by tacking thread.
Colors may vary slightly depending on the monitor.
I can fit about 8-10 yards of fabric in a flat rate medium box for $12.40 to US locations, and about 4 yards in a $5.95 flat rate box (unless there are obi fabrics included in your order), so if you want to combine shipping with any of my other fabrics let me know & I'll arrange that for you.
