For sale is this rare and very special San Francisco Souvenir, a leather photo album with soft flocking in assorted colors on front and several blank pages inside that have space for "Memory Leaves" (names, addresses, etc.). The lovely art deco style of the headings inside is the best indicator of age- we believe this was made just after the Golden Gate Bridge was built (1933), and probably sold in the small souvenir shop on the San Francisco side. Lucky for you, condition is very good vintage- no writing on any of the 38 pages inside! The first several black construction paper pages do however have some black photo corners still adhered in places. Overall size is 13-3/4" by 9-1/8". Binding is the original brown satin rope. There is one tiny bent corner (see photos), but it is quite negligible. Souvenir albums from this period in this great of condition are getting harder to find- and this one is a nice reminder of the early days of the great Golden Gate Bridge!
