This kit has the beginner in mind! Learn the technique of coiled basketry!

Coiling is a basketry method where one material is wrapped around another in a spiral. Generally the materials used for wrapping are soft and flexible while the coil can be a bit more rigid.

These instructions will teach you how to coil a small basket. Basketry requires patience and perseverance. Keep at it and you will be proud of your new skills and finished basket.

Our kit includes: Fiber cord, raffia, tapestry needle and an 8-page full color instructional booklet. You will need: scissors, ruler, plastic bag. Kit makes one coiled basket about 2-1/2" wide by 1-1/2" tall. Ages 7 and up, adult participation necessary for younger ages. Made in USA.

Payment Options for Orders - Orders made through our Etsy shop can be paid for by Paypal or by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover) through our online order processing. We are unable to accept payment by money orders or personal checks.


Returns & exchanges

Refund Policy, Returns and Refused Shipments - If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will refund your order if you return it in its original condition/packaging within 7 days of your receipt of the products. Please allow up to 15 business days after delivery of your returned product to our facility for refunds to be processed. Refunds will be the price you paid for your order minus shipping and handling costs and a 10% restocking fee. If a shipment is refused and returned to us we will refund the order minus a 10% restocking fee and shipment costs are not reimbursable. All shipping costs to return the items to Crafted Gift Company are the responsibility of the customer and are not reimbursable. Please send the unused items back to us at the following address: Attn.: Returns, Crafted Gift Company, 3336 North Texas St., Unit #501, Fairfield, CA 94533 USA. Please be sure to include a copy of your invoice so that we know which order is being returned.

Exchanges - If you want to exchange something you ordered from us for something else from our website, please follow these instructions. Return the items to us at the following address: Attn.: Exchanges, Crafted Gift Company, 3336 North Texas Street, Unit #501, Fairfield, CA 94533 USA. Please put a note in the package telling us what you want to exchange the items for. We will then send you an email providing the additional cost (or refund, as applicable) + the cost for shipping out the new items for your approval. Upon your approval, we will ship out the new items to you. All shipping costs to return the items to Crafted Gift Company for the exchange are the responsibility of the customer and are not reimbursable.


Additional policies

Shipments with Missing Items - Customers have up 7 days after receipt of the shipment to notify us of any missing items in the shipment.

Refused Shipments - If you refuse delivery of a shipment, you will be refunded for the purchase price of the products less a 10% restocking fee and less the shipping charges for your order.

Shipping Address Corrections After Order Has Been Shipped - If a customer has entered an incorrect address or zip code as the shipping address for their order, and Crafted Gift Company is assessed an address correction charge by the shipping company, Crafted Gift Company will charge the address correction fee to the customer. The standard address correction fee for UPS packages is $5.00.

Order Damages (from Shipping) - We make every effort to ensure that your order is correct, properly packaged, and well protected in transit. Despite our best efforts, damage sometimes occurs during shipping. We do not accept responsibility for products damaged in transit. We strongly recommend that you always inspect your packages before accepting them when delivered from the shipping company.

International Orders / Orders to Canada, Hawaii, Guam, Alaska, Puerto Rico, APO/FPO - Unfortunately we do not ship to these locations.

Ground and Expedited Shipping: Ground shipping is available for all items on our website. Expedited shipping, however, is not available.
