Item details

Chunky bulky handspun yarn, rustic art yarn, naturally dyed with Logwood. Logwood is a natural plant dye, makes beautiful shades of purple, lavender and lilac.

This fiber is a rustic and sturdy mix of local wools, including Icelandic and Lincoln. It would love to felt! It's not the softest. I spun it as a gently textured bulky yarn. Gloriously textured, would be great knit with big needles and a single stitch, or really cool in a weaving project. Also excellent for wool dreads or rug hooking.

58 yards, single ply bulky weight, 4.75 oz.

If you need more or less of this yarn, convo me. I am glad to do custom order for afghans, blankets, and other large projects. I have many satisfied customers!

These yarns are spun in my home; I do my absolute best to keep my felines and angora housebunny out of the fiber, but please do be aware that these yarns are created in an pet-friendly home. After they are spun, tagged, photographed and listed on etsy, they "live" in my herb shop until they are sold, so they DO smell pleasantly of herbs - most people find this pleasant but if you think this might be objectionable, you have been warned :) .
