Here is a very rare to find early French shop display case for embroidery silks, "Soie a coudre Zwicky" the cabinet has been lined in a delightful period shabby chic roses fabric in tones of faded bordeux/mallow on milk white background. It is constructed of wood with a glazed lid that lifts up. It is in good strong condition. Someone in the past has written in pen 6.80 F, this will probably come off with a little cream cleaner but I thought I would leave it as it's part of its history, F for the old French Francs. Wonderful conditions and delightful detail, if you wolud like to have more details or photographs, please feel free to contact me. On the back there are two mirror plate like brackets, so the cabinet could be fastened back to the wall if you wished. The display case is sold empty, the items in second photo are only for display. The maximum width is approx 17.5" (44 cm) the hight is 10" (25.5 cm) and the depth is approx 8" (20 cm).
