Sashiko Fabric / Japanese Vintage Fabric #017 - Japanese Classis Thread Bobbin
A piece of Japanese Vintage Indigo fabric with an interesting Sashiko stitching on. The sashiko stitching is done by hands.
The design is based on the Japanese classic Thread Bobbin, we believe. The Symmetrical design is interesting enough to hang it on the wall. The back of the fabric is somewhat cleaned. After sizing the fabric to your project, some clipping or putting back fabric may be required. With stitching over double layers, it is a great piece of fabric in the frame as a Japanese folk art piece.

Patching (Stitching) this fabric to on the denim jacket could be one project of simple Sashiko project and makes a great one-of-a-kind garment.
Upcycle Stitches / Sashi.Co & Keiko Futatsuya are a group of Sashiko artists.
We usually make Sashiko stitching with a purpose, like making a Sashiko Jacket and/or a Sashiko Bag.
However, from time to time, we enjoy Sashiko stitchings without any purposes. Just for fun and enjoy stitching. In addition to that, we occasionally get a piece of fabric after we make a product. We kept piling them in a drawer, and we realize that there may be people who are interested in these fabrics.
These fabrics are good for repairing your garments. We offer some tutorials how to do so with Sashiko fabrics. It can be used for dining/kitchenware by putting the back fabric and finishing them.
*Our customer shared a nice idea. After trimming the edge of the fabric, then put it in a frame. It would be a nice wall decoration.
