Inspired by my beautiful Poppies.Just like a beautiful sunset, this yarn gently fades from light peach to apricot to beautful darker 'pinky' peach.First I hand spin the wool into yarn.I dyed this in the gradient style: where I completely dye the hank of yarn - ( after spinning) in a peach shade. Then I add apricot and dark pink to the dye pot and hang the hanks off of a wooden spoon and dye the lower portion of the hank. What results is a beautiful 'sunset' effect. So pretty. This yarn is thinner than a 'sportweight' and would make a good sock yarn.100% wool. 160 yards.11 wpi (wraps per inch around a pencil) : This is a great hat yarn, mitten yarn, scarf yarn where you wanted your finished item to be non-bulky.After it is dry, I wind it onto my yarn winder and let it rest. Then I remove and leave as a beautiful hank or spin it into a center pull ball if that is what you want.Sent as a hank or a ball, as per your liking. Let me know.
