I collected these exceptional Beach Stones at the southernmost beaches of the beautiful island of Crete. There the Libyan Sea separates Europe from Africa.
As they are washed out of the sea you can admire their beautiful colours, until they dry and loose them.
This is how I got the idea to polish them as it is traditionally done for the semi precious stones, with sandpaper. This allows the stone to keep its natural appearance and energy, no varnish, colours or anything involved. All I do is "finishing" what Sea and Sand already had started.
Sizes vary from 9mm (shortest side measured) to 18mm (longest side measured).
