FAQs

Very carefully! In most cases, we individually wrap each plant for safe travel. Most plants are shipped bare root, some with fine roots will ship semi-bare root in pots. Some hanging plants are also shipped in their pots. We hear from customers repeatedly that they are impressed with the condition of their plants on arrival.

Standard shipping days are Monday through Wednesday - this is to prevent plants getting stuck over the weekend. If you need Thursday or Friday shipping, we will do our best to accommodate you, please contact us to make the request. Shipping times depends on dryness of the plant roots. Please allow 2-3 business days to process your order.

The short answer is yes! Aeonium leaves are notoriously sensitive and bruise easily, but they also heal and outgrow the bruises. Even just touching the leaves of an Aeonium will cause a bruise to show the following day (this is important if you're using them in arrangements; they can look beautiful and you won't realize until the next day that all the leaves have black bruises). When unwrapping an Aeonium (or any plant) take care to hold it by the stems, or wrapping around the root ball and touch the leaves as little as possible. This being said, expect an Aeonium to have some bruises and lose some leaves after shipping.

After carefully unwrapping the plant, the next step is to get it happy. All plants will need an adjustment period. Your plant may arrive looking a little wilted or deflated after living in a box for a few days. The plant will want a drink. Plant it in well-draining soil and give it a drink. Keep it in bright shade (or bright indoor light), with good air flow, for a few days. Slowly transition the plant to direct sun - an hour of morning sun the first couple of days, couple hours the next few, etc. 'Full sun' generally means 4-6 hours of direct sun and most plants like to receive that direct sun in the morning. Warning: Succulents sunburn easily if put directly in the sun without a transition period.

Yes! We can get large quantities of a variety of 2" and 4" succulents, whether you need a few for your bridal bouquets and centerpieces, or hundreds for your wedding and event favors. We can usually meet special color requests and are happy to work with you to ensure you get exactly the plants you want. To get started just message us and let us know you need a large quantity of plants. We'll assist and fill your order from there.

I wasn't sure how well these would travel from California to Georgia but everything arrived in great shape and I'm excited to see how it crawls - i love a trailing plant.
