FAQs

Wash in hands, gently in warm water. Squeeze gently and lay down on a smooth surface to dry. Then, iron slightly if needed.

To make the doily look perfect, you can iron it slightly or “block” it. “Blocking” means you make the doily wet with water, and place it on a suitable surface. Flatten ripples, stretch a little if needed, and attach with pins all angular stitches to the surface. And leave the doily to dry up. When you remove pins, the doily will stay “blocked”. "suitable surface" here means “suitable for using pins”. It can be foam, foamed plastic, plywood or thick carton sheet. Though, once all that is not available, I block doilies on ironing board or even on a carpet. )))

Generally my scarves are 58-60 cm round and 21-30cm height (23,2-24" round and 8,4-12" height). But once you need other measurements, please do not hesitate contact me!
