The purpose of this tutorial is to show you how I make the Apple Core Bead.
If you've purchased the LilianaBead Apple Core Design - Starting with the Center - Part One - Lampwork Bead Tutorial please read my blog entry about the two tutorials at http://lilianabead.blogspot.com/.
I wrote this tutorial with the intermediate beginner in mind and have offered multiple clues to working with glass that have served me very well. This tutorial is a great resource for an intermediate-level lampworker as well.
This tutorial is 51 pages long and I used 70 process images to illustrate step-by-step instructions. Each instruction is followed by clues for you to attend as you execute each step.
The photos were taken by a professional photographer and a wonderful artist, my friend Marie Craig.
I used Moretti/Effetre and Kugler 104 to create the bead in the photos.
A PDF copy of the tutorial is available for instant download after your purchase is complete.
You will need Acrobat Reader to open the file and you may acquire it at no cost on internet.
