This hand-dyed yarn is a soft merino wool, in various shades of green and aqua, with a touch of grey at times. It is a thick and thin handspun with slubs randomly placed throughout. It is plied with a fine green polyester thread that gives it texture, strength and lustre.
There are two skeins, as I refuse to knot the yarn to make a continuous length. I hate finding knots when I am knitting!
This soft yarn will best suit items that will not be exposed to hard wear, so scarves, hats, as a feature yarn in woven items, etc. are more appropriate projects for it than gloves, for example. It is whisper-soft against the skin!
